Description
The 2011 Egypt protests were the first time anyone had organized on social networks in order to overthrow a government. I wanted to create a place for these communications to live, to be tracked so that it was easier for protestors and watchers to get information. Thus, a new type of social media dashboard was born, and a new type of search technology as well…

5® Gum Coachella 2011
Wrigley wanted to promote 5® Gum's sponsorship of the Coachella Live Webcast, and bridge the gap between the Coachella music festival and 5 Gum.

What we came up with plays off of the sensory experience mantra 5 Gum lives by. The microsite prepares fans' senses for what we called the ultimate sensory experience—the Coachella Live Webcast.

5GumCoachella.com is a microsite that prepares each of the 5 senses using targeted experiments. Each experiment utilizes a different technology including webcams, app-to-phone capabilities, and pressure sensitive devices. The party piece however is an intricate shout-out system fans were granted access to after they completed sensory preparation. Each shout-out was shown during the Live Webcast on YouTube.

Wrigley was launching a new product, Dessert Delights. The gum was the first of its kind, and they wanted to convey how this gum can replace desserts and cut back calories.

What we designed is an interactive experience based around two truths: it's easier to do anything with the support of a friend, and communities help motivate people stay motivated.

What we created is Chew Buddies. A place where people can connect and suport each other to battle off love handles.

AT&T asked Firstborn to create a website that showcased all the ways mobile barcodes can help businesses advertise. What we created was an interactive experience that showed the versatility of the technology, and opened the door into AT&T Next Dimension. The site takes people through three main sections: explore, experience and perspectives. I contributed the copy for the voice-over in the explore section of the website.

This was created for the value menu section of www.bk.com: Burger King’s corporate web site. In order to help people understand the great value they get from Burger King, we showed them other things on the web that are priced the same. The site draws from Google Shopping, eBay, Amazon and more.

Description
Imagine RIT Live is a live blog with a twist. Rochester Institute of Technology's annual Imagination and Creativity Festival includes hundreds of exhibitions that attract more than 30,000 visitors. On the day of the festival at 10 am, Imagine RIT Live took its first breath. The blog utilized both RIT staffed reporters and festival guests to report minute-by-minute happenings across the campus. Festival guests could email imagineritlive(at)rit.edu with a short story, picture or video, and it was automatically screened and put up on the web. They could also take part on Twitter by using #imagineritlive as the hash-tag, and the site would pull in their tweet and place it on the blog. It was a great success with a constant flow of information being sent in by both groups.

So what's next? How about RFID wristbands that counts the number of visitors at each exhibit, which then auto-tweets current exhibit info every 30 minutes?

Description
This is a web blog about Volkswagen’s Turbo Diesel vehicles (TDI). There are hundreds of article summaries and opinion pieces on the site, and I wrote a large majority of them.

It’s true what they say about Germans… they make really good cars.

This TV script was written for Volkswagen’s 2010 Sign Then Drive Event. The tattoo gun is an ink pen designed for a direct mail promotion.

If you think this guy is scary, try the price of the synthetic oil.

Glad that Shakespeare elective course paid off.

Description
Volkswagen decided to sponsor the Chicago Marathon, and the specific car to highlight the event was the Jetta Turbo Diesel. The concept is the cars act as competitors in the race. They practice the route, train for the marathon, and help the other runners. Plus, we provide an entertaining message at every single mile.

<img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/29982/355174/VW CHImarathon3_900.png" width="900" height="650" width_o="2048" height_o="1480" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/29982/355174/VW CHImarathon3_o.png" data-mid="1561214" border="0" align="left"/>

Did I mention that after the 26.2 miles, if you can muster up another 14.8 (the MPG of the TDI–41) you'll get a TDI… for free.

I’d run it just for the nipple tape.
